Okay, so I told a little fib. Matt flew in yesterday afternoon but we told everyone he wasn't getting in until today (Wednesday). We wanted to spend some quality "alone" time sans kids - and no phone calls, which we did & it was SOOOO awesome! We used some of my Dad's Hilton Reward Points and got to stay right on the Riverwalk in San Antonio at Palacio del Rio. What a wonderful - yes even a little romantic (who, me??) - evening we had!!
We had told the kids he wasn't getting home until Thursday so today (Wed) we were waiting for them when they showed up along with Dad & Steven at Carino's. They walked in the restaurant and Matt came up behind them & surprised them - they were so happy! When I have time I'll try to upload a couple of pictures.
YAY!!! We are so glad to have him home!!!!

The Riverwalk is amazing. It's a good thing you live so close so you can go actually see it sometime...when you're not so busy being...*ahem*..."romantic." hehehehe
Yeah - we didn't actually see a lot of the River Walk that night ;)
And it is SO awesome to have Matt home & our family together again!
