Peeps Cheeps & Squawks

We've had a living room full of chicks & ducklings the last couple of weeks, and they are finally feathered out enough to move them outside (and it's finally warm enough) - Woot! Those ducklings grow at an alarming rate, and so does their poop :-P

Here's our brood:

21 in all: 14 chicks, 6 ducklings.

Are these not the UGLIEST chicks you've ever seen?!?

They're called 'Naked Neck Chickens', and for good reason. They also have half the body feathers other chickens have so they are quite heat-resistant. They were so unique I had to get some.

Come on over! We seem to always have chicks, goslings, ducklings or some such babies in the house. We'll have some quail babies hatch in a week or so if all goes as planned & they're supposed to be teeny-tiny!
