Since our winter harvest never came to pass (the chicken got into our lettuce & spinach & ate it all...TWICE!) we just waited until we had the time & a little bit of money to plant a Spring garden. A week ago Saturday, since we were in Austin already for Jessica's People to People meeting, we stopped by our ALL TIME FAVORITE gardening center, The Natural Gardener. Nothing compares to this place!!! Anyway, we needed a bunch of awesome, organic dirt and the cheapest way to get it is to shovel it ourselves into bags so we enlisted the kids' help in this task. They seemed to enjoy it.
