Guys Night Out

I'm finally taking the time to post this - sorry it's taken so long. The only pictures are from Matt's phone so they aren't the greatest, but you can get the idea.

So Matt & Jimmy had the opportunity to go deep-sea fishing with the Lenington men. They met up & carpooled 5 hours to the coast. They boarded the ship at 2:30 pm and rode out about 2 1/2 hrs to the fishing spot. They fished all afternoon & half the night until they left to come back in at about midnight, slept a few hours at Matt's nephew's house in Houston then drove home. Jimmy caught the most fish out of all the 7 guys out there. There's some discrepancy as to how many fish he caught - Jimmy claims 7, while Matt claims he only caught 5 - it must come naturally to boys to embellish their fishing stories ;-) In any case he did catch several fish & he was thrilled! Fortunately for them, neither one of them are prone to sea-sickness because the boat was rocking so much that Matt said it was like a carnival ride the entire time they were out there. Jimmy managed to fall asleep on the floor of the boat even with the rocking (Matt can't believe he was actually able to go to sleep under the conditions). In the end, Jimmy caught 2 King Mackerel & the rest (3 or 5?) were Red Snapper. They had an awesome time!
